Direct to Film Transfers can be applied to any material including cotton and polyester.  
 
Image must be ready to print, no background, size you'd like it etc.

Temp: 320° F
Pressure: Heavy
Time: 10 Seconds
Peel: Hot
 
Set heat press to 320 degrees.
Pre-press for 5 - 10 seconds to remove moisture
Press the transfer for 10 seconds with heavy pressure.
Peel Hot 
Press again using parchment paper for 5 - 10 seconds.
 
Commercial heat press Recommended.
